RCT: Deer Creek bridge out
September flooding damages new bridge on the Rachel Carson Trail
Flooding damaged the bridge over Deer Creek in Emmerling Park that Indiana Township installed only last year, washing away the road leading up to the eastern abutment. For trail users the simplest solution is to rock-hop across the creek. You may be able to find a shallow(er) area by following the creek south two hundred yards or so.
