We'll be doing some hillside bench work on the easternmost part of the Rachel Carson Trail. This section is not part of the Rachel Carson Trail Challenge, so if you've never seen it, now is a great time! It's on the bluffs overlooking the Allegheny River, and the lack of foliage allows for unobstructed views up and down the river.

Bring some water and a snack. We will have shovels and gloves available, but bring both if you have them as we may not have enough.

If we have the resources (time and people), we'll head over to the Bull Creek Road parking area and do some trash cleanup, too.

Directions: Take Route 28 to exit 16, turn east (right if exiting northbound) at the end of the ramp, then right again at the T-intersection with Freeport Road. The park is about one mile down on the left. Take the left fork of the Park entrance road and follow it to the end.
