DESCRIPTION:Venture Outdoors\, in conjunction with the Rachel Carson T
 rails Conservancy\, has planned a maintenance day on the Rachel Carson
  Trail in preparation for the 34 mile Rachel Carson Trail Challenge. T
 he upcoming Challenge will be the 10th anniversary\, so let's put the 
 trail in the best shape it's ever been. Tasks include painting blazes\
 , pruning branches\, cutting limbs\, removing fallen trees\, and clear
 ing undergrowth. If you have your own tools\, please bring them as we 
 may not have enough to go around.\n\nTools to bring\: BOW SAWS OR PRUN
 ING SAWS\, long handle LOPPERS\, WEED WHIPS\, MACHETE\, and the old ma
 nual HEDGE TRIMMER. A pick and shovel could come in handy.\n\nPlease l
