<desc>December Hike Dec 29, 2007 from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm: Hike the Baker Trail 5-7.5 miles on Saturday, December 29th starting at the beginning of the
Armstrong Trail and ending either at Kelly Station or the Bethel Township Building. There is
one creek crossing that depending on the water level could be significant. This section of the
Baker will be changing in the future. The Rosebud Mining Company will be running rail tracks
through this beautiful railtrail section. Come enjoy the beauty before it disappears! We
will meet in Schenley just as you cross the railroad tracks. If you are heading north just out of
Leechburg on Rt. 66 you will come to a flashing yellow light. Make a left turn onto SR2062.
Continue on SR2062 winding around and down until you come to the railroad tracks in Schenley.
Cross over the tracks and park just to your right. We will meet at 10AM. Any questions, call
Patty 724-325-3224. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
