http://www.rachelcarsontrails.org/Members/dbeard/baker-trail-maintenance-1 Rachel Carson Trails Conservancy Baker Trail Maintenance June 4-5 Jun 03, 2011 07:00 PM through Jun 05, 2011 03:00 PM: Come hike and improve a section of trail from the Gravel Lick Bridge south through State Game Lands 283 to Fisher-Sigel Road. For those who are interested, we will be reserving a couple of camp sites at the Ridge Campground for the weekend (call Dewaine for details). Volunteers will meet in the parking lot at the Log Cabin Inn picnic area in Cook Forest at 8am on Saturday and Sunday. We will organize into work crews and head out from there. Work is scheduled to end by 3pm on Sunday. Volunteers are welcome to come for as much or as little of the weekend as they can. There will be work for all skill and experience levels from building new trail to picking up sticks. Bring food and plenty of water. We will supply the tools. Cook Forest
